More and more information is surfacing that the FBI and other government agencies knew this Mateen was dangerous long before he killed half a hundred innocent people and wounded half a hundred more during his murderous insane rampage in Orlando. Co-workers had reported him for terrorists comments, showing them terrorist videos and bragging about having connections to terrorist groups (which may or may not have been true). In 2013 he threatened to kill a police officer and his family. Shortly before his cowardly massacre a gun store owner reported him to law enforcement as dangerous and refused to sell him guns, ammo or body armor. Yet the authorities did nothing. The left wants to blame the guns and the right wants to blame the lack of enforcement. Was he given a pass because he was Muslim? If this were a radical Christian making the same threats about an abortion clinic would the threats have been ignored? At what point does political correctness become social stupidity? We need to make it more difficult for evil people to get guns, and we also need to make it more difficult for them to do evil things with or without guns.

For more information on Mateen’s actions prior to his evil rampage check out JihadWatch.org. There is a lot of far right rhetoric and sloganeering on this site, but it is easy to ignore. This site does give you information on terrorism and radical Islam that the mainstream media will not cover. If you can plow through the demagoguery there are some frightening facts.

Today Ted Cruz dropped out of the presidential race, this makes the GOP a wrap for Trump. The last 6 months have seen the most bizarre political events I can remember. While I had dubbed the Republican primary the “stupidest show on earth”, I am pretty sure that the show is not over. After inventing name like “Little Marco” and “Lyin’ Ted” I am sure that Trump will fill the airways with insults and accusations of all sorts when he faces either Clinton or Sanders in the National election. Of course I fully expect the Democrats to return the favor. Can you hear the circus music playing ……
